Steven Hunt was born in St. Petersburg, Florida on May 10th, 1988. He began piano instruction at age six and debuted on the cruise ship, "Big Red Boat." Since then, he has performed dozens of local events, including the Florida Orchesta's designers' showcase of homes. He's also played at the MedTrade convention in New Orleans, First Night St. Petersburg and First Night Tampa, and many local charity events.

Steven has had feature stories in the St. Petersburg College newsletter, Pinellas News, St. Peterburg Times (twice), and the Tampa Tribune (twice). He was also mentioned in the St. Peterburg Times convincing state legislators to pass the "Beethoven's Baby Bill" in Tallahassee (State Capital of Florida), where he also met Governor Chiles.

Steven has appeared on numerous television and radio programs, including feature stories by Wes Sarginton (Now at the NBC Atlanta Station) of "Wes Side Story" (Who dubbed Steven the Modern Day Mozart), "Good Morning Tampa Bay" with Russel Rhodes on FOX Channel 13, and Mary Beth Bird of Channel 10 CBS News, and performed live with Glenn Beck on WFLA Radio.

Steven has received numerous scholastic and musical awards. He has also received several awards from the Pinellas Regional Science and Engineering Fair in Elementary and Middle School. He is currently the youngest student to enroll at St. Petersburg College at age 11. He is currently 16 in 2004. He takes music composition lessons under the watchful eye of Dr. V. Taranto, who writes music for Carnagie Hall. He also receives private lessons from Gloria Bolivar at Eckerd College.
